Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final - Friday 2 December, Paris
2011 is the 11th anniversary of the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final, and this is the second time that the world-famous city of Paris will host one of the highlights of the Jumping calendar. The French capital will provide the perfect backdrop to the spectacular displays of horsemanship from 10 of the world’s finest horse and rider combinations.
The entry list consists of reigning Olympic Champion and No 1 in the world Eric Lamaze, reigning European Champion and No 2 in the world Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Rider of the Year in Germany and No 4 in the world Ludger Beerbaum, leader of the Rolex FEI World Cup in the Western European League and No 5 in the world Pius Schwizer as well the best lady on the world ranking Edwina Tops-Alexander.
Two French riders will also ride the Top 10 final; Kevin Staut and Simon Delestre – respectively No 7 and No 10 on the world ranking. Irish Rider Denis Lynch and Billy Twomey will also join in; they are No 8 and No 9 on the world ranking list. The last rider in the Top 10 final will be American rider Beezie Madden, who is eleven on the ranking but has a place in the absence of McLain Ward.
