Malaysia's 2012 polo season

The Royal Malaysian Polo Association has published its calendar for the 2012 season.  The International League (12 to 14 goals) will comprise of four tournaments, the Thai Open, Royal Pahang Classic, Terengganu Open Polo Championships and RMPA International.

The National League has been split into two divisions: National League 1 is to be played in a new 6 to 8 goals range, and National League 2 is back to the original 4 to 6 goals range.

The Merdeka League has been raised in handicap range by a goal, to become a 0 to 2 goal league.

The RMPA has run succesful polo leagues since 2005.  30 teams participated in the RMPA Polo Leagues in 2011.
